Friends Music Camp meets each summer on the campus of the Olney Friends School in Barnesville, Ohio. The Olney Friends School campus includes five main buildings – the main building, activity center, guest house, boys' dorm and girls' dorm. The main building on campus includes the school auditorium, cafeteria, gym, library, and many offices and classrooms. Performances take place in the auditorium.
Campers have access to the excellent collection of books in the school library and can access the internet using the library computers. The activity center includes classroom space, an organ, and two pianos.
Campers and staff live in the dormitory buildings. The guest house houses our nurse, teaching studios and practice spaces. Female two week campers live with their counselor on the top floor. Our camp nurse takes care of basic health care needs during camp. Barnesville hospital is less than three miles from camp, if needed. |
