Where is Friends Music Camp located? How do I get there?

Friends Music Camp is located at Olney Friends School, a Quaker boarding school in Barnesville, Ohio. Barnesville is in southeastern Ohio, 30 miles west of Wheeling, West Virginia.

What should I bring?

Please see our recommended list of what to bring. Please do NOT bring alcohol, tobacco, illegal drugs, or weapons to FMC.

What does it cost to attend FMC?

The cost for 2009 is $1875 for four-week campers and $1250 for two-week campers. Financial aid is available.

What's the schedule like?

During the week, campers attend lessons, sing in the chorus, play in large and small ensembles, act in musical theater, take classes, and, of course, have ample time for hanging out and having fun. Evening activities include capture the flag, a dance, outside speakers, visits to the local pool, and other fun activities. Both students and staff perform at weekly recitals and on weekend concerts.
